Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026. Written in plain language, because a privacy policy you can't read protects no one.
The short version
We collect the information you give us through our contact form or booking links, use it only to respond to you and run our business, never sell it, and delete it when you ask. The rest of this page is the detail behind that sentence.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, project type, and optionally a budget range and message. When you book a call through our scheduling provider (Cal.id), that provider collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers or sell behavioral data.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss your project.
- To prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email you haven't asked for. One inquiry does not subscribe you to anything.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers required to operate: our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider (to route your inquiry to our inbox), and our scheduling provider when you book a call. Each processes your data solely to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law genuinely requires it.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as it is relevant to a current or potential engagement, and business records for as long as law requires. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@garkonix.com and we will act on the request within 30 days. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), these rights may be backed by law. We honor them for everyone regardless.
Cookies
This website works without advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics, we choose privacy-respecting tools and update this policy first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted prominently here. Questions about anything above: privacy@garkonix.com.
