A clinic group's front desk spent most of its day on phone bookings and reminder calls, while no-shows ran at 19%, leaving expensive gaps in every provider's calendar.
The patient population skewed older, so the usual startup playbook of dense interfaces and tiny tap targets was exactly wrong. Accessibility was the product requirement, not a checkbox.

Tested with real patients before building
Ran moderated usability sessions with patients aged 55–80 on early prototypes. Font sizes, contrast, and flow lengths were set by observed failure points, not opinion.

One codebase, every touchpoint
React Native + Expo delivered iOS, Android, and web from one codebase, with SMS fallbacks for patients who never install apps. Inclusion by architecture.

Reminders engineered as a funnel
Multi-channel reminder sequences (push, SMS, email) with one-tap confirm/reschedule, tuned over eight weeks of A/B measurement against the no-show rate.
