The fundraising team was excellent: campaigns brought thousands of people to the donate page. Then the page went to work against them. Five form steps, a forced account signup, no wallet payments, and a full page reload that dropped mobile donors mid-gift. Analytics showed 47% of started donations never finished.

    Amount, payment, done. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and saved cards first; the postal-address questions moved to the receipt email where they belong.

    A gentle monthly toggle with impact framing that shows exactly what a recurring gift funds turned one-time givers into sustainers without a single dark pattern.

    Gift history, receipts, and stewardship tasks in one place, replacing three spreadsheets and a shared inbox.
